Well, good news to anyone who might be flying for me, and who isn't covered in cobwebs or figments of my shattered imagination! Vintage Air Cargo has picked up a contract run! This one is for the boys and girls in the Australian hub. ;D We need around 300,000 Lbs of LIVE sheep delivered from our base in Alice Springs to Portland by August 14th. Here's the route information to plug into your GPS. All DC-3 Pilots are encouraged to load up them woolie animals and get us our contract completed. This is worth $55,000 to the company. It's a major help. I'll omit what the penalty to the company will be if we don't meet the deadline. Let's just say I hope you guys can afford the sheep feed if we don't make this. Route Information:Alice Springs (YBAS) To Portland (YPOD) Heading: 152 Distance: 952 Nautical Miles. Time of Departure: 10:30 AM. Load Real World Weather We're going to fly about 7,000 Lbs of sheep, so be sure to empty out your payload on the plane. For Pilot leave the default 170 Lbs. For Co-Pilot change payload to 0. (You don't need a co-pilot this run.) Load Passenger Rows 2 through 6 with 1,400 Lbs. BE SURE TO DELETE ALL THE OTHER ROWS WEIGHT SETTINGS!For your fuel payload set the left and right tanks for 61.9 % fuel. Center tank is filled with 45%. This should get those lamb-chops to Portland no probelm. I think?
